Got to see the amazing craft of American Photographer Steve McCurry at his exhibition in Sydney today, Steve McCurry Icons.

These photographs are the definition of "LIFE". He managed to capture beauty in despair of everyday people in war stricken countries and moments in history such as the Afghan–Soviet War, the Iraq War, Gulf War and Afghan Civil War, and 9/11. Along the way he captured the day in the life of monks, shepherds, children, natives, nomads, anyone trying to get by in the world.
