After 2 years of travel restrictions, Scottish comedian Danny Bhoy was back in Sydney for his Now Is Not A Good Time tour.
He took the mickey out of everything that happened in the last couple of years of COVID and observed human behavior during the pandemic, events in Britain, family holidays and climate change.
He compared panic buying to Noah stocking up for the great flood, examples of the silly rules of social distancing rules in the UK (getting a mattress delivered to his house with the couriers not being able to go inside unless it was an emergency), how climate change helped Scotland build it's first winery (reviewed by Australian and American critics as undrinkable and you couldn't even give it away at a raffle) and a long skit on how animals at zoos reacted to lack of visitors during lockdown.
We, the audience, were left smiling and cracking up at his storytelling way of comedy, seen in other great comics such as Billy Connolly.
At the end of the show, we could see how grateful Danny was to be back to doing what he does best 🏴
