LIVE REVIEW + GALLERY: Spacey Jane Live at Hordern Pavilion 13/6/2026

Those who braved the 14 degree chill to see Spacey Jane's sold out residency at Hordern Pavilion on Saturday night were braver than I thought. Once every was inside to main stage, things got heated (temperature wise).
Warming up the packed floor was The Moving Stills and Phoebe Go. Both young bands felt welcomed and supported by the younger crowd with their indie pop tracks. A few funny moments in Moving Still's set with them walking on stage to the Anti-Piracy "You Wouldn't Steal A Car" ad campaign theme that is cemented in everyones brain growing up along with the explosive THX theme that revived the band.
Automatic switching the crowd on was the main event, signalled by the instant screams and sing alongs. A surprising note was that Spacey Jane started at 10pm which is late by Sydney standards. Normally a headline would start at 9pm and run till 10:30pm. Regardless of time, the band smashed through a 19 song setlist with crowds jumping around to the opening songs Through My Teeth, Estimated Delivery and One Bad Day.
Every member of Australia's most streamed indie pop band pulled their weight performing bigger venues like Hordern. Caleb Harper’s truthful vocals, Ashton Hardman-Le-Cornu's beserker guitar playing energy, Peppa Lane's bass precisions, Kieran Lama's chaotic observations while keeping the beat intact. Showing how much they have grown as band while staying true to their morals with their 3rd album If That Makes Sense.
