JUST ANNOUNCED: THE STROKES RETURN TO AUSTRALIA IN FEBRUARY 2027
THE STROKES ARE RETURNING TO AUSTRALIA IN 2027! 🇦🇺🎸
New York indie-rock icons The Strokes are officially heading back Down Under, announcing their highly anticipated Reality Awaits Australia 2027 Tour for February — and they’re bringing some seriously impressive company along for the ride.
Following their Australian headline run in 2022 and appearance at Harvest Rock in Adelaide last year, Julian Casablancas and co. will return for four massive shows across Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.
Joining The Strokes throughout Brisbane and Melbourne will be Australian indie-rock favourite Courtney Barnett, alongside the explosive Promiseland.
Sydney, however, is getting something extra special.
The Strokes will close out the Australian tour by headlining the inaugural Sydney Summertime at Centennial Park, where Grammy Award-winning artist Beck will join Courtney Barnett and Promiseland for one huge outdoor celebration of alternative music. The February 20 show will be The Strokes’ only Sydney performance and their only outdoor headline show of the Australian run.
The tour comes in support of The Strokes’ seventh studio album, Reality Awaits, their first full-length release since 2020’s Grammy-winning The New Abnormal.
THE STROKES — REALITY AWAITS AUSTRALIA 2027 TOUR DATES

Tuesday 16 February — Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne with Courtney Barnett + Promiseland
Wednesday 17 February — Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne with Courtney Barnett + Promiseland

For Sydney fans, this is shaping up to be one of the biggest alternative rock bills of the summer. The combination of The Strokes, Beck, Courtney Barnett and Promiseland taking over Centennial Park also launches Sydney Summertime, a new series of major outdoor concerts set to run through late February and early March.
